OHIO REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A LICENSED HOME INSPECTOR

- Take an 80 hour home inspection course (online or classroom) 

- Complete 40 hours of field training  (or you can do 10 Parallel inspections)

- Pass the NHIE National Home Inspector Exam

- Pass a criminal background check

That is what is needed to become a licensed home inspector in Ohio.
